Final consultation document on information referred to in Article 26(1) of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/460 of 16 March 2017 establishing a network code on harmonised transmission tariff structures for gas
The company Eustream, pursuant to the authorization of the Regulatory Office for Network Industries, launches a final consultation regarding the reference price methodology for access to the transmission network and gas transmission in the Slovak Republic in accordance with the requirements set out in Art. 26 of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/460 of 16 March 2017 establishing a network code on harmonised transmission tariff structures for gas.
The primary reason for initiating the final consultation is the amendment to Act No. 250/2012 Coll. on regulation in network industries by Act No. 116/2026 Coll.[1], pursuant to which Eustream, as a regulated entity, is required, with effect from 1 July 2026, to submit a price proposal annually no later than 31 August of the calendar year preceding the year for which the tariffs are to apply.
As there have been no material changes in the underlying assumptions compared to the previous consultation, the economic assumptions on which the tariff proposal was based have been confirmed. Furthermore, the tariffs approved by the Regulatory Office for Network Industries in Decision No. 0040/2026/P were lower than those proposed by Eustream. Therefore, Eustream proposes to initiate the consultation with a tariff proposal that is substantively consistent with the most recent consultation and price proposal.
The company Eustream invites all interested parties to join the consultation process and to submit their responses to the published consultation document and related documents. In accordance with the requirements of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/460 (TAR NC), the received responses will be published on the Eustream´s website after the conclusion of the consultation.
