Personal Data Protection

Company eustream, a.s. (hereinafter “EUSTREAM” or the “controller”) ensures personal data protection in compliance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter the “Regulation”) and Act No 18/2018 on personal data protection and on amendments to certain laws (hereinafter “Act”).

Data subject’s rights

Irrespective of the legal grounds for personal data processing, a data subject has the right of access to their personal data; right to rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of personal data; and right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, having its registered office at Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, statny.dozor@pdp.gov.skhttps://dataprotection.gov.sk/, or to file a proposal to initiate personal data protection proceedings.

Fulfilment of the information obligation in relation to data subjects

The principles of fair and transparent processing require that the data subject be aware of the existence of the processing operation and its purposes.

EUSTREAM provides the data subject with information concerning the processing of personal data relating to him or her at the time of collection of data from the data subject, or, where the personal data are obtained from another source, within a reasonable period after obtaining the personal data, in accordance with the Regulation and the Act.
