Additional Firm Capacity Increase at IP Veľké Zlievce/Balassagyarmat from Hungary to Slovakia (Update)

eustream, a.s. and FGSZ Ltd. intend to offer an additional firm capacity increase at the IP Veľké Zlievce/Balassagyarmat (EIC 21Z0000000358C) from Hungary to Slovakia, as communicated by our TSOs in March 2025.

The planned increase will further raise the firm capacity at the IP Veľké Zlievce/Balassagyarmat to 5,300,315 kWh/h (from 3.5 bcma to 4.38 bcma) in the direction from Hungary to Slovakia, however, this increased capacity will not be offered during the yearly capacity auctions on 7 July 2025.

Market participants will be duly informed about the availability of the increased capacity through a separate newsletter.

The firm capacity increase at the Slovak–Hungarian interconnection point remains an important step in the development of the Vertical Corridor.
