Decision of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic on the non-application of Section 82c(3) of the Energy Act

By this decision, eustream, a.s. was granted an exemption from the obligation requiring that, as of 5 August 2026, a hydrogen transmission system operator must not, in terms of its legal form, be part of an undertaking engaged in natural gas transmission, natural gas distribution, electricity transmission, or electricity distribution activities.

On 5 August 2026, the decision of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic became final and enforceable, whereby the Ministry decided that Section 82c(3) of Act No. 251/2012 Coll. on Energy and on Amendments to Certain Acts, as amended, shall not apply to eustream, a.s. until 31 December 2039.
