Additional firm capacity increase at the Interconnection Point Veľké Zlievce/Balassagyarmat from Hungary to Slovakia – update

EUSTREAM and its Hungarian counterpart FGSZ Ltd. offer an additional firm capacity increase at the IP Veľké Zlievce/Balassagyarmat (EIC 21Z0000000358C) from Hungary to Slovakia.

The related administrative and technical conditions have been duly completed; thus, the planned firm capacity increase at the IP Veľké Zlievce/Balassagyarmat to 5,300,315 kWh/h (from 3.5 bcm/y to 4.38 bcm/y) in the direction from Hungary to Slovakia is now available.

The increased capacity will be offered as a daily product starting from gas day 1 December 2025 at the respective daily capacity auction on 30 November 2025. The increased capacity will be offered in all further capacity auctions according to the CAM NC auction calendar.

The firm capacity increase at the Slovak–Hungarian interconnection point remains an important step in the development of the Vertical Corridor.
