Eustream and Ukrtransgaz agreed on signing of the Memorandum and examine ways of speeding up launching the Vojany pipeline

Representatives of Eustream discussed in Kiev on 25. April with partners from Naftogaz and Ukrtransgaz on the technical aspects of the implementation of reverse gas supplies from Slovakia to Ukraine . Eustream repeatedly pointed out the fact, that use of the Vojany - Uzhgorod gas pipeline (the little reverse ) is at the moment the best possible solution from the technical, time and legal nature.

Representatives of Eustream discussed in Kiev on 25. April with partners from Naftogaz and Ukrtransgaz on the technical aspects of the implementation of reverse gas supplies from Slovakia to Ukraine . Eustream repeatedly pointed out the fact, that use of the Vojany - Uzhgorod gas pipeline (the little reverse ) is at the moment the best possible solution from the technical, time and legal nature.

Subsequently, the negotiations were extended by the representatives of the European Commission and the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy, including the Minister Juriy Prodan. The main topic of conversation were minor changes in the text of the Memorandum of Understanding , which experts do over the weekend . The Parties agreed, that representatives of Eustream and Ukrtransgaz will sign the document on Monday, 28.4.2014 in Bratislava .

Eustream promised that in the coming weeks will examine in an expressed mode the technical options of gas transmission through the pipeline Vojany to accelerate the launch of reverse flow to Ukraine and to increase the previously planned volume of supply.All News
