Born on 9 October 1962 in Germany, he studied law at the University of Göttingen. After first and second state exams he worked from 1993 to 2011 in E.ON Ruhrgas AG as a lawyer in different positions and in 2006 became an authorised signatory of the company. He joined Eustream from the position of General Counsel and Head of Legal Department of E.ON Ruhrgas AG. From 1 January 2012 Gunnar Löwensen is chairing the Board of Directors of Eustream.
